Hey y'all,
Well it is approaching my favorite time of year! Fall is in the air, I feel it at night with the windows open, there is a nip in the air, its almost sweater time! There have been leaves falling in the yard, and this weekend is the apple festival in our town. My favorite things about fall, are pumpkins, sweaters, bonfires, pies, the smells, and the leaves changing, trading in flip flops for boots, the smell of fires burning, the winter garden, apple cider and hot chocolate, the fiber fair, flannel shirts, and rumors of snow!! I am so excited about fall, can ya tell? What are your favorite things about fall? I know I have missed some things!

About Me
- The tin can homestead
- I live in the mountains of Western North Carolina, in a little camper, with my husband and family. We are trying to become self sufficient and live off the land. I am sick of all the sad news on TV, the economy, and the evil world we live in, so we are trying to make things as simple as possible and get back to the basics. I think if everyone did that, and had faith in God the world might be a better place. Follow along, as we live life in our little tin can, and try to make it a home, while learning to homestead.
