Seed Saver, is it a gimmick?

Hey Y'all,

I recently came across this company, and I was wondering if it is legit, have any of you heard of it? You pay $69 and get enough seeds to grow 20,000 pounds of food and the seeds keep for 5 yrs. Has anyone out there bought one? Just curious!

  1. Never seen this before. I don't think I'd want to spend that much money just for a plastic bucket and seeds. You could probably do this yourself by putting seeds in a plastic bag and vacumn sealing them and storing in your own airtight container.

  2. You are right, that's what I was thinking! The website kinda looked like those websites you see that end up being a scam, That's a lot of money these days!

About Me

My photo
I live in the mountains of Western North Carolina, in a little camper, with my husband and family. We are trying to become self sufficient and live off the land. I am sick of all the sad news on TV, the economy, and the evil world we live in, so we are trying to make things as simple as possible and get back to the basics. I think if everyone did that, and had faith in God the world might be a better place. Follow along, as we live life in our little tin can, and try to make it a home, while learning to homestead.
